It's Halloween
It has become a tradition when its Halloween that adults dress up as well as children but instead of going out and trick or treating they go to parties, host parties, go to concerts etc. The most searched costume i found this year for women was Harley Quinn and for men was The joker. America celebrates Halloween big and the U.K. is catching up with celebrating Halloween big.
Here is a little bit of history about Halloween- Halloween straddles the line between fall and winter, plenty and paucity, life and death. Halloween is a time of celebration and superstition. It is thought to have been originated with he ancient Celtic festival of samhain , when people would light bonfires and wear costumes to ward off roaming ghosts.
This year i did two things for Halloween. The first thing i did was go to kissfm's kiss haunted house concert party on the 26th of November. I have been going to this for three years now and each year it just gets better and better. The kiss haunted house party is where various artists perform. This year i was lucky enough to see Craig David, Mo, Sigala, Louisa Johnson and Zara Larsson who who did brilliant performances. I miss Tinie Tempah and was really upset as i am a huge fan.

The second thing i did was yesterday (Saturday the 29th) I hosted a Halloween DVD day/night with two of my friends who i have featured below. We watched various Halloween films such as The corpse bride, Casper, Hocus Pocus and Hotel Transylvania ,, we ordered a pepperoni pizza, had snacks and had Halloween cakes.

The make up came in a set- white powder, red , black and grey make up for the eyes. I used the white powder to make my face look pale, i used the red make up for underneath my eyes and the back make up for my eyebrows, underneath my eyes and for eye shadow. The wig i found was quite itchy and made my head sweat. The hairs on the wig kept going in my eyes.
Tomorrow for actual Halloween i will be working half 11-half 2 and then after that i shall be watching Halloween films. I hope everyone has a lovely Halloween x
