On sunday the 5th of february I got invited to a free photoshoot at icon studios in south bank . The studios itself is a short walk from waterloo station and right near itv studios where this morning is filmed . I received an email back in december inviting me to have a free photoshoot and upon receiving this email i decided why not. I was allowed to invite a friend with me so i asked my friend Lorraine to come with me.
I went to the photoshoot and usually at photo shoots you have to wait ages to have your make up and hair done. I was offered a drink and had my hair done straight away . I decided to go for a wavy look as curls always fall out of my hair (long hair problems). I then only had to wait five minutes for my make up to be done. The make up artist is amazing she kept showering me with compliments about how young i look, how pretty i am , how beautiful my hair is and how beautiful my eyes are. I decided to go for an elegant look.After my friend and i both had our hairs and makes up done we then went to have our photos taken . The photographer was brilliant and encouraged us to do more modern day poses. I loved the backgrounds he used my favorite was the beach background as i really want a holiday right now. Altogether it took around an hour and a half to take our photos.
I brought along four outfits with me . The first outfit i wore was the pink oversized jumper dress from pretty little thing with knee high boots, the second outfit i wore was a off the shoulder grey top with jeans and white flat shoes, the third outfit i wore was a bodycon stripey long dress from h&m with knee high boots and the last outfit i wore was a playsuit from Ariana Grandes collection at Lipsy with flat shoes.
We then had to wait 15 minutes to see our pictures . Lorraine and I were so impressed with how the pictures turnt out . We got 30 of our images for free .We had such an amazing time at icon studios and would highly recommend it to anyone .
