How to dress Appropriately for winter/ when it snows
For this weeks blog I thought it would be a good idea to blog about how to dress appropriately for winter/ when it snows as it has been snowing the past week in the uk , the snow is coming down heavy just as i am typing this now.
First of all you need to make sure you wear layers, the more layers the better, layers keep your body warm . Secondly you need to make sure you are wearing appropriate footwear so snow boots or warm boots would be perfect for keeping your feet cosy / warm and will help you maintain your balance whilst walking in the snow. Keeping your feet warm , also helps keep the rest of your body warm as if your feet are cold then so will the rest of your body. Thirdly wearing thermal tops, long sleeve tops, leggings etc underneath your clothes will help keep you warm. Fourthly making sure you wear a hat/scarf / gloves, keeping your gloves on is as very important as if you even take them off for a spilt second your hands go red.
You can buy Thermal wear from any high street store: primark, debenhams , uniqulo, sports direct, m and s, John lewis , sweaty betty etc, even amazon has some thermal wear.
I do not know about you but I actually can not stand snow, yes it looks pretty once it has settled but it can cause issues such as travel issues, disruptions to your day, it brings ice with it and i hate walking on ice, I always fear that i will fall over.
